Green Nature Solutions Ultra Filtration (UF) systems use hollow fibre or spiral wound membranes with pore sizes of 0.001 to 0.1 micron to physically remove suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, viruses, protozoa and high-molecular-weight organic compounds from water. UF operates at low pressure and without chemicals, making it an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly treatment solution.
Feed water is pressurised at 1–3 bar and passed through the UF membrane. The small pore size physically blocks all particles larger than 0.1 micron while allowing water, dissolved salts and small molecules to pass as clean permeate. Periodic automatic backwashing flushes retained solids from the membrane surface, maintaining consistent flux and performance.
