Demineralized (DM) water is water from which virtually all dissolved mineral salts have been removed. It is essential in industries where even trace levels of dissolved ions can cause equipment damage, process contamination or product quality issues. Green Nature Solutions designs and supplies DM plants using ion exchange technology to produce high-purity demineralized water for boilers, pharmaceuticals, electronics, laboratories and industrial processes.
Feed water is passed through a series of ion exchange resin beds that remove all dissolved cations (calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium) and anions (chlorides, sulphates, nitrates, silica, bicarbonates) from the water.
Two-Bed DM Plant:
Mixed Bed Polisher (Optional): For ultra-high purity applications, DM water is further polished through a mixed bed unit (combined cation and anion resin) to achieve conductivity < 0.1 µS/cm.
