Seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) is one of the most effective and widely adopted technologies for converting seawater into high-quality fresh water. Green Nature Solutions designs, fabricates, erects, operates and maintains complete SWRO systems capable of treating seawater with TDS levels up to 50,000 PPM, producing permeate water suitable for drinking, industrial and commercial use.
Seawater is first pre-treated to remove suspended solids, turbidity, biological matter and scaling compounds. It is then pressurised using high-pressure pumps and forced through semi-permeable RO membranes. The membranes reject dissolved salts, minerals and contaminants, allowing only pure water molecules to pass through. The concentrated brine reject is safely discharged.
